What about Phone Meetings? What about Outposts?
- A GSA group may meet in person or on a telephone conference line.
- Each telephone meeting, for example, Monday 6 PM EST, would register as a separate GSA Group.
- Each telephone meeting would then elect a GSR who would represent that group at the appropriate Phone Meeting Intergroup, i.e., there are two Intergroups: one for the morning phone meetings (12:01 AM - 12 PM EST) and one for the afternoon/evening phone meetings (12:01 PM to 12 AM EST).
- This will allow outposts (GreySheet members who attend phone meetings because they are unable to attend in-person GSA meetings because there is no in-person meeting within reasonable travel distance or they are unable to travel to their local in-person meeting) to participate in the GSA service structure.
- Outpost members are also encouraged to attend their geographic area's Intergroup meetings to participate in discussions of issues that affect GSA in their geographic area. They do not serve as GSRs to that Intergroup, i.e., they do not vote on issues before the Area Intergroup.
- Two Intergroups will represent the phone meetings.
- Each of the two Phone Meeting Intergroups will elect an Area Delegate to attend the World Service Conference.
