Thank you for your attention and your responses to our previous letter presenting the proposed new GreySheeters Anonymous (GSA) world service structure. (That letter and the service structure are available on the GSA website at http://www.greysheet.org/cms/proposed-structure.html.) In order to help build this Service Structure, you can:
- Elect a General Service Representative (GSR) for your local meeting at your next business meeting.
- As a GSR, register yourself and your local meeting as a GSA group on the GSA website so you can receive information from the Board of Trustees.
- You can register your group and your GSR on the GSA website at http://www.greysheet.org/cms/face-to-face-meetings/group-registration-form.html.
- As a GSR, contact other GSA groups in your Intergroup Area and form an Intergroup.
- An audio file about the experience of the first two GSA Intergroups is available on the GSA website at http://www.greysheet.org/cms/purpose/board-presentation.html
- A list of other GSA meetings in your Intergroup Area is available on the GSA website at http://www.greysheet.org/cms/face-to-face-meetings.html
- A list of volunteer liaisons between the Board and the Intergroup Areas who will help an Intergroup Area form their Area Intergroup is available on the GSA website at http://www.greysheet.org/cms/intergroup-areas.html
- As a GSR, elect an Area Delegate at your first Area Intergroup meeting to attend the first World Service Conference.
- As an Area Delegate, register your Area Intergroup on the GSA website so you can receive information from the Board of Trustees.
- Register your Area Intergroup and your Area Delgate on the GSA website at http://www.greysheet.org/cms/intergroup-areas.html
- As an Area Delegate, prepare to attend the first World Service Conference to be held in 2010 in Chicago, IL the Friday before the annual Chicago GreySheet Retreat.
- Read the Service Manual of Alcoholics Anonymous, which is available on AA's website at http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org/en_services_for_members.cfm?PageID=101
- Consider proposing to your Area Intergroup and local GSA groups that they support the service structure financially from their Seventh Tradition donations.
- Familiarize yourself with the issues facing GSA so that you can vote on the proposals of the Board of Trustees at the World Service Conference.
