Assistant Chair

Duties: Coordinate the work of the Website Committee by scheduling monthly meetings, communicating with members and potential members, communicating with the Website Professional and Website Liaison.

Requirements: Abstinence: 90 days. Term: 1 year. 2-3 hours a month. Chair@greysheet.org

Members with Internet Skills

Web developer, web designer, web, social media, blog content creator, copy editor, social media manager, graphic designer, email newsletter publisher, tech support with online tools such as website, MailChimp, webmail, google docs, google drive, web data analysis, app developer, user experience manager, etc.

Requirements: Abstinence 90 days. Term: 1 year. 4-5 hours per month. Website@greysheet.org

Make yourself available to other GreySheeters

Join the GSA Phone List - an online contact list of over 800 abstinent GreySheeters - accessible online to list members only. If you are a qualified sponsor, you can also apply to be listed as an area contact.

Register Your Group

If you know of GSA meetings in your area that are not listed on the GSA website, please let us know. GSRs and trusted servants can register their groups and list their meetings on the GSAWS website. Contact registrar@greysheet.org with any questions.

Announce Your Events

If you are planning a GreySheeters Anonymous event in your area, submit flyers or details about future Retreats, Round Ups, etc. to the Public Information Committee LIST YOUR EVENT to be included on our event calendar

If you have 90 or more days of back-to-back GreySheet abstinence, submit your written or audio qualification for posting on our Member Stories page. Email your qualification to the Public Information Committee at pic@greysheet.org

Board of Trustees

Treasurer

The GSA World Services Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the budget, the financial records, and the required reporting both internally and to external agencies. The Treasurer is supported by a bookkeeper who handles the day-to-day transactions and record-keeping. The Treasurer is also supported by an Assistant Treasurer and the Finance Committee in creating and tracking the budget. The current Treasurer will train.

Secretary

The GSA Secretary records the minutes of the monthly Board of Trustees and the Chairs/ISRs meetings as well as the minutes of the annual World Service Conference. The Secretary is ultimately responsible for managing all the records of the organization with the support of the Assistant Secretary and the Note Takers.

Assistant Secretary

The GSA Assistant Secretary supports the secretary and manages GSAWS records in the GSAWS Google Drive.

Trustees from Iceland, Israel, Southern Central, and Spanish Speaking Community

Represent your area on the Board of Trustees. Ensure that your community is heard.

Requirements: Five years of abstinence. Three-year term. 2-4 hours a month.

Public Information Committee

Public Information Committee Chair and Members

The Public Information Committee delivers one of the four core services of GSA World Services. We are responsible for carrying our message to the public so that we achieve our vision, When anyone anywhere realizes they have a problem with food, they think of the GreySheet solution. Currently we do this in four ways: Three social medial channels aimed at the public; personal stories on the website; publishing events on the website and GSA World Services Facebook page, and providing guidance to individuals, groups, and intergroups via the Public Information Manual.

Requirements: Volunteers have 90 days abstinence, GSRs have one year of abstinence. Two-year term. 2-4 hours a month.

World Service Specialist Position: “Welcome Contact”

Duties: Return calls and emails from the public, including potential new members, and from existing members. Refer members to appropriate service entity. Call within two hours. Email same day. Volume 25-50 calls and emails a month. THIS IS A DELEGATE-ELIGIBLE POSITION. This means that the registrar may vote in the World Service Conference.

Requirements: Five years abstinence. One-year term. 3-4 hours a week.

CONTRACTOR: Social Media Manager

Duties: Manage our social media presence by working with the Public Information Committee to create posts to carry the message to the public. Publish posts on agreed schedule analyze the impact. THIS IS A PAID POSITION.

Requirements: Proven experience managing social media for not-for-profit organizations. If a member of GreySheeters Anonymous, Abstinence: 1 year. Term: 1 year. 2-3 hours a month.

Communication Committee

GSAWS Facebook Admins

Duties: Moderate the GSA World Services Facebook group to ensure posts meet criteria and that only existing GSA members join the group. Current trusted servant will train.

GSA Phone List Validator

Duties: Call current subscribers to verify information annually. Provide updated information to the GSA Phone List Coordinator. Current trusted servant will train and support.

Area Contacts List Coordinator

Duties: Add new contacts to the online list quarterly. Annually email all contacts to verify that they respond within 24 hours.

Structure Committee

Group Registrar

The Group Registrar maintains the spreadsheet of registered GreySheeters Anonymous Groups and updates the meeting calendar on the website. The purpose of the Group Registration is so that each group may elect and register a delegate to the World Service Conference and have a voice in GreySheeters Anonymous. The purpose of the Meeting Calendar is to carry the GreySheet message by allowing people to attend our meetings. The current registrar will train. THIS IS A DELEGATE-ELIGIBLE POSITION. This means that the registrar may vote in the World Service Conference.

Requirements: One-year GreySheet abstinence. Two-year term. 2-4 hours per month. Comfortable with Google Drive, Google Sheets, MS Excel, and general internet skills.

Structure Committee Members

The Structure Committee needs new members who are interested in our newest projects: publishing our Service Manual and drafting our Conference Charter. These exciting, long-awaited documents will provide the structure for our fellowship that our GreySheet provides for each of us.

Requirements: Volunteers have 90 days abstinence, GSRs have one year of abstinence. Two-year term. 2-4 hours a month.
